Where I Come From
Born 1995
I was born the first son to a family at a place literally called the "Bay of Bears", located in Northern Karelia. At the turn of the millenium, we settled to southern Lapland, where I grew up.
I studied first in Jyväskylä, Finland, and later in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Where the Art Comes from
My first interests were nature and science. I spent countless hours learning from every book I could get my hands on. Later, I was introduced to fiction through books, films and mythology.
Ever since then, I've worked to commit myself to creativity. I draw inspiration from my experiences, my dreams and from the people I work with.
Where I've Learned
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, writer and artist
I studied composition in Scotland and piano in Jyväskylä. Previously, I had studied philosophy, journalism, communications, psychology and musicology. I have also studied art, physics and mathematics in my free time.
I find professional pride from committing myself to each task I pursue. I have played in big bands, folk ensembles, metal groups, musical orchestras and electronic music performances. I have studied pop/jazz piano, conducting, arranging, producing and orchestrating.
Besides music, I also have experience as a culture journalist, columnist, manga artist and animator, graphic designer and a choir conductor.
